PRODUCTS


Feldspar is the single most abundant mineral group on Earth. This group includes aluminium silicates of soda, potassium, or lime. Sodium Feldspar is a pure mineral contains Anorthite (Limespar - CaO-AI203-2SiO,) and most commercial feldspars also contains iron oxide (0.04-0.15%) and traces of Magnesia. Feldspars are primarily used in industrial applications for their alumina and alkali content. Most of the products we use on a daily basis are made with feldspar: glass for drinking, glass for protection, fiberglass for insulation, the floor tiles and shower basins in our bathrooms, and the tableware from which we eat. Feldspar is part of our daily life.

Sodium Feldspar is generally used for three purposes :

- In making the body composition of several types of porcelain, china and earthenware and also in the preparation of glazes and enamel.

- As an important ingredient in the glass sand batch.

- As a bonding agent in the manufacture of bonded abrasives like wheels and discs of garnet, corundum, emery etc.

GRADE

Soda Feldspar Premium


The name of “Feldspar” refers to group of Aluminum Silicate of potassium, sodium and calcium. The chief use of Feldspar mineral is in the Ceramic and Glass Industries. Smaller quantities are used in the manufacturing of Tiles, Whiteware, and Sanitaryware. Other uses of Feldspar include Catalysts, Acid resistant and Decorative Stone as a flux or binding agent in certain scanning Soaps and artificial teeth.

Potash Feldspar is generally used for three purposes :

- Best for Ceramic & Sanitary Ware Manufacturing - Application in both Glaze (K2O > 11.5%) & Body (K2O >10.5%) – gives White Firing Colour.

- Glass Grades – better fluxing from K2O > 10% (total alkalies > 13%), Alumina > 17% for strength, Low Iron Fe2O3 at < 0.5%.

- High Potash K2O >11% for Flux coated Welding Electrodes.

Quartz is the most abundant and widely distributed mineral found at Earth's surface. It is present and plentiful in all parts of the world. It forms at all temperatures. It is abundant in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. It is highly resistant to both mechanical and chemical weathering. This durability makes it the dominant mineral of mountaintops and the primary constituent of beach, river, and desert sand. Quartz is ubiquitous, plentiful and durable. Minable deposits are found throughout the world.

Quartz is generally used for Following purpose :

- Geological processes have occasionally deposited sands that are composed of almost 100% quartz grains. These deposits have been identified and produced as sources of high purity silica sand. These sands are used in the glassmaking industry. Quartz sand is used in the production of container glass, flat plate glass, specialty glass, and fiberglass.

Limestone is a type of carbonate sedimentary rock. It is composed mostly of the minerals calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). A closely related rock is dolomite, which contains a high percentage of the mineral dolomite, CaMg(CO3)2. In old USGS publications, dolomite was referred to as magnesian limestone, a term now reserved for magnesium-deficient dolomites or magnesium-rich limestones. About 10% of sedimentary rocks are limestones. The solubility of limestone in water and weak acid solutions leads to karst landscapes, in which water erodes the limestone over thousands to millions of years. Most cave systems are found in limestone bedrock.
